BACKGROUND
TJL Solicitors are a specialist law firm, focusing on personal injury and medical negligence claims. TJL came to us after a length of time with another agency that had, unfortunately, not resulted in much progress having been made in over a year. They already had a considerable online presence for many of the keyword terms that they wanted to target, and it was felt that they had hit a wall in terms of traffic growth. During our initial audit, we found immediately that there was, in fact, considerable scope for additional organic growth. We identified a number of new keyword opportunities and set about creating a strategy to target them.
What We Did & Results
We embarked on a full on page optimisation project for TJL to increase their organic traffic. We were extremely careful to map out current success points in order to maintain their visibility for existing key terms that were already driving good organic traffic levels, whilst creating and adding new pages in line with new keywords that we had identified to generate growth. Once the pages had been researched, written and optimised, we then set about increasing their authority through a comprehensive link attraction campaign to each individual page. In addition to this, our initial SEO audit threw some technical issues into the mix, which we set about rectifying immediately alongside their incumbent developers.
Alongside the SEO campaign, we were also tasked with auditing and overhauling TJL’s Google Ads campaigns. In such a competitive space, it’s common for costs per click to be astronomical by comparison to other industries. Our main task was to reduce the CPC, and drive additional conversions for the same budget. We initially conducted niche keyword research and changed the overall approach from general keywords to more specialist terms. This allowed us to capture a lot of the market in cosmetic surgery negligence in particular, and enabled the budget to go much further than it was previously doing.
Within just 6 months of us commencing work on the SEO and Google Ads for TJL, they saw some incredible increases in both organic traffic and, most importantly, organic conversions via their website. The month 6 compared to month 1 statistics show an increase in conversions of 55%, which is estimated to be much higher when phone call enquiries are factored in as well as contact form submissions through the website. The campaign also saw vast improvements in their existing rankings, resulting in a 36% increase in organic sessions and a 33% increase in organic users numbers.
The Google Ads campaign saw similar successes, with the cost per conversion decreasing drastically after the campaign overhaul and restructure, down by 61% from month 1 to month 6.
