Viral Ad of the Week – 7th of May

This week’s Red Cow viral ad of the week has to go to this fabulous video from Vodaphone.

Although it has faced some criticism for depicting the elderly in what some have deemed a ‘condescending light’, we at the Red Cow office have to disagree. The folks in the video seem like they’re having a whale of a time and we really enjoyed watching them enjoy themselves. We think showing older ladies and gents singing along to a plethora of new age pop tunes in this unexpected and unlikely advert really gets across the message of accessibility to all that Vodaphone were going for. A big hat’s off to the guys over at rkcry&r who developed the creative concept, bravo!
