We’re Nominated….Again!

After taking home the Talk of Manchester’s ‘Best SEO Company in Manchester’ award in December, there are already more awards on the cards for our fantastic team!

In December last year we beat off stiff competition to take home our first award – if you didn’t see it, here’s our team looking fabulous whilst collecting it at the ceremony. The ‘Best SEO Company in Manchester’ accolade became ours in just our fourth year of existence, which is something we’re extremely proud of. Whilst it was lovely to be recognised for the standard of our work amongst our peers and clients, though, we’re the ambitious type here at Red Cow and, as such, there was no question of us stopping at just one accolade. So, just four months after our first win, we have now been shortlisted for another award, as well as our Managing Director being shortlisted for an individual award.

The first shortlist is a national award by Google, Bing and The Drum. The Drum Search Awards are incredibly well known and well respected in the search marketing industry and aim to recognise the best of the best in the world of SEO and Paid Advertising. Our Managing Director, Kelly, is on the shortlist for the prestigious ‘Women in Search’ award. Having won her place on the shortlist through an initial nomination followed by a selection process, Kelly is now at the public vote stage. If successful, she will proceed through to the final selection where she will compete in a Dragon’s Den style pitch in front of a selected judging panel of industry experts, including senior figures from Google, Bing, Yahoo, Tesco and Lego Group.

The second shortlist we have made is for the City of Manchester Business Awards 2016 , where we’re in the running for ‘Best Digital & Creative Business of the Year’. This will be the 6th year that Downtown in Business will be putting on the City of Manchester Business Awards, which seeks to celebrate the best of Manchester businesses across a number of sectors. Shortlisted alongside some of Manchester’s finest agencies in their own specialisms, we’re extremely excited to be counted as one of the city’s best digital businesses. We were also pleased, and not the least bit surprised, to see some of our clients and partners also nominated in different parts of the list, such as Gorvins for ‘Best Legal Firm’, Rhys Evans of GVA for ‘Best Property Professional’ and Just Watch Events for ‘Best Newcomer’ so we’re obviously in good company!
