MD, Kelly White, Named in Insider’s Prestigious 42 Under 42 List

Our Managing Director Kelly has been named in Insider’s prestigious 42 Under 42 list.

The 42 Under 42 list by Insider Magazine is issued once a year, and is designed to illustrate the most influential and up and coming business minds around the country under the age of 42 – the average UK age for entry into the rich list. In the 2016 North West list, Kelly is named alongside some amazing individuals whose businesses are amongst the fastest growing in the North West, including The Lad Bible Group, Beauty Bay, Sedulo and Beech Holdings, and is not only one of the two youngest on the list, but is also one of only 7 females of the total 42. Those named on previous Insider 42 Under 42 lists since they were first issued in the 1990s have gone on to manage and own some of the UK’s best known and well respected businesses, such as renowned property company Urban Splash and nationally and internationally respected jewellers Beaverbrooks and Boodles.
Red Cow Media has grown rapidly since its inception in 2012 as a freelance business to accommodate Kelly’s expanding client base. As a company, we have come a considerably long way from a laptop at a kitchen table in a Salford Quays apartment, including the acquisition of large, international clients, and our office move earlier in the year into a space that was purpose built to accommodate such continual expansion, expected to reach over £1.5million in the next financial year. Kelly said of making the list “I’m actually shocked to be recognised in this way to be honest! I found myself looking at the other businesses on the list and thinking ‘wow, how am I on it with these guys’, then I stopped and realised how well we’ve actually done with the business. Day to day, you get up, go to work and run your business as usual and it doesn’t feel like anything praiseworthy or special. It’s only when you’re recognised with something like this that you actually think of how it’s not just a normal, standard thing to have grown a business from nothing to this size. I’m hugely proud of the team, especially Stephen and Matthew as I certainly haven’t done this on my own!”.
